FIR was retained by a crown prince of a Middle Eastern monarchy to help strengthen his country’s reputation and raise his personal profile among the U.S. foreign policy establishment.
At the time, the crown prince’s international standing was facing a challenge from his brother who was conducting a large-scale lobbying effort to position himself as the rightful heir to the throne.
We developed and implemented an educational campaign among key target audiences in Washington, introduced the client to key officials, and advised him on effective media outreach.
We also conducted a parallel effort to monitor and counteract any false or misleading media reports stemming from his brother’s attempts to present himself as the rightful heir, working with our client’s legal counsel to secure retractions when necessary.
